Overview
Some window positions have no wall to fix to. A glazed shopfront on a shopping centre lease, a freestanding display behind a glass vestibule, a dealership with an open floor plan: in all three the display has to stand up by itself. The floor-standing high-brightness light box display is the version of our 2000cd/m2 range built for those positions.
The brightness figure is the point. Behind glass, in daylight, a normal indoor screen turns into a mirror. At 2000cd/m2 this unit keeps content readable, and it is available in 43, 49, 55, 65 and 75-inch screens with resolution of 1920×1080 or 3840×2160 depending on the model. The cabinet is 50mm thick, the platform is Android 9+ with Windows available as an option, and operation is rated for 0-50C.
Configuration and Options
Start with the size and the standing position. A 43 or 49-inch unit works in a compact window; 65 and 75-inch versions are used where the display is itself a landmark on the shop floor. Confirm the resolution tier that goes with your chosen size, since the range is not uniform, and decide whether the platform should be Android 9+ or Windows. Access for delivery and the floor surface at the standing position are worth checking before ordering.
Preparing the Standing Position
A freestanding unit transfers its weight through a small base area, so the floor beneath it matters. Check that the surface is level, that it can take a concentrated load without marking, and that cables can reach the position without crossing a walkway. In glazed retail units the power outlet is often on a back wall several metres away, which affects where the unit can stand. If the display will move between positions, note the route and any thresholds. Send photographs of the floor and the nearest outlet, and we will advise on the base arrangement and cable route.

Does every size share the same specification?
No. Brightness, cabinet depth and temperature rating are series figures, but resolution and platform combinations differ by model. Confirm the configuration for your chosen size with our team.
Can it be moved after installation?
It is a freestanding floor unit, so it does not depend on a wall fixing. Tell us if the display will be repositioned regularly and we will advise on handling.
What is the difference from the wall-mounted version?
The display specification comes from the same light box range; the difference is the standing base and the installation method. Choose floor-standing where no wall fixing exists.
