Street architecture is mostly horizontal. Fascia bands run above shopfronts, canopies edge along the pavement, and the wall above a retail entrance is wider than it is tall. A landscape screen follows those lines; a portrait one cuts across them. This IP65 wall-mounted outdoor display is supplied in landscape orientation so the screen aligns with the band it is mounted on.
The exterior construction matters as much as the format. Full lamination bonds the display to the cover glass across its entire surface, removing the internal gap where direct sunlight scatters and flattens contrast. The IP65 rating then protects the unit against dust ingress and water jets, which is what a permanently installed street-facing screen has to survive.
Configuration and Options
Confirm the mounting band first: the height of the fascia, the depth available behind it and whether cabling can be routed inside the wall or must run in surface trunking. Send a photograph of the elevation with approximate dimensions, and we will confirm the landscape proportion that fits. Because the screen is horizontal, campaign artwork must be built for that shape; vertical content will need re-cropping.
Replacing an Existing Sign

Measure the existing sign, note the position of its fixing brackets and confirm whether the electrical supply is rated for a display rather than a lamp array. Reusing the bracket positions can avoid new penetrations in the facade, which is often a condition of the landlord’s consent.
